Fuel Feed
To feed the 383 stroker, 500hp, with a 750 Quick fuel single pump I have decided to run an electric fuel pump and with that I will install an inline billet canister filter and pressure regulator set at 6.5 PSI.
Can the filter be place before the pump between the tank and pump?
My thought here is to save the pump from any particals that may come from the tank. I know that the ele pumps are pushers and not pullers. But would a filter before the pump be a concern to feed the pump?

Yes, as long as the filter is capable of flowing 100 gph. I'm running a 1-quart spin on Chevrolet oil filter ahead of my Carter 100 gph electric fuel pump and its plenty big to handle the flow.
