Got some more parts in today. Bosch 195lb injectors are in, LS3 MAP sensor in, all fittings are here and just waiting on fuel pump and some lines. Also need to get a new tb and ordered the wrong balancer.

Can you share your plans for water pump and cooling system routing? It looks like the downpipe is going to be very close to the upper rad hose.

I am debating what is going to break first. The list is quite large.
It depends on the tires he uses.

Drive shaft without a doubt, or pistons. The trans is rated at 1500 and 9inch is bullet proof.

Tire is a 275/60/15 pro radial 8.5 wide

Plans for water pump is the 55gph electric meiser that basically deletes the tensioner and alt runs off the balancer. The downpipes will be "close" but they will be dei titanium wrapped and you could put your hand on the down pipes after a run and it be cold.

I know you can have stock rims widen by a wheel shop, wonder if they could shorten a stock 15x7... they are 4" BS usually so take off 2.5 and that would give you a 15x4.5

A shop said it was too much to take off. I'm going to go order those skinny's you linked to me in pm. Awesome find!

Well took a trip out to the trans shop today. Spoke with my builder for a while. I decided I wanted to switch to power glide for less weight, less power robbing, and better launching mainly. So that day I dropped another $4k on a Reid aftermarket bell housing and case, all billet internals, steel clutches, straight cut gears, trans brake, etc etc. Every bell and whistle. We worked on getting washers in the case and painting it tomorrow. It will be fully assembled in 2 weeks. Looking at now trying to find a new cross member since the mounts are shorter. Gonna need a th350/power-glide cross member. I have the 400 that gets ripped out tomorrow.

Kinda ironic....I went to trans shop yesterday again and there was a 76 corvette getting a different trans and had him install a tubular k member. Well the th350 crossmember was sitting on the ground and when the guy comes Wednesday to get the corvette my trans guy will ask him if he will sell it to me.

Well making good progress. My dual 044 pumps, twin 10 micron post filters, two 100 micron pre filters, fittings, tb, balancer, and fuel line are here tomorrow.

Also my fab guy, Blake at 417 Motorsports, made these bad *** billet water lines which make it so much cleaner. Can't wait to place my order!!

We fire it in 3 days!!!!

Finalizing plans to ship the car out to Wagon Wheel performance in Illinois for the 8 point moly 8.50 cage, turbo piping, radiator mounted, autofab 4 link, moser 9", strange axles, mini tube, new floor boards, kirkeys, steering column, etc

This car has never left my hands and I have slaved on it every weekend. I tried my hardest to make it 100% built by me but when it comes to safety and welding I have to send it off.

We got it fired up!

My best friend came over at 9am, we fought fuel leak problems, oil leak problems, regulator problems, voltage issues, starter blew out, etc etc

5 hours later and after going thru one battery, boom!!

This is just on tps only, we need to get it to a fab shop asap for exhaust and radiator, get some o2's on it, map hooked up, and we can tune it. Its super rich but the e85 smells wonderful!
