75 L48 why is idler arm almost touching exhaust?
close. about 1/8th inch. i would think that much heat would be rough on the bushing.

it is a stock manifold with a stock heat riser with what i think is a stock pipe attached.

ok, looks like arm and exh are in contact. it is a newer replacement arm. exhaust looks original, with heat riser. ok, pic went thru. motor mount looks ok. any thoughts? or anybody have a pic of theirs? i guess i could loosen the mounts and scootch motor over a bit?

I just looked at mine, and have about 3/16" clearance there.
