Default gapped plugs at .045 instead of .035

350 with dual points and unknown after market coil. I gapped at .045.
Not that much fun getting to some of the plugs due to the headers.
Car runs fine, but should I pull them and re-gap?

You should ask before, not after.

.035" for points, .045" for HEI.

Since you have dual points with extended dwell, you "might" be okay, but honestly, .035" is perfectly adequate.

Don't know why I confused the HEI gap spec with points. If I was a surgeon or pilot... well these kinds of mistakes would not be good.

You think its OK to leave them at .045?

Would installing HEI be easier than pulling, regapping, and reinstalling the plugs?

I opened it up after setting gap and adjusting timing and it ran good.

There ya go. The added dwell with the dual points is helping. Enjoy for now, and as they say, "No worries mate."
