Default Q-Jet electric choke power source?

I'm having a Q-jet built to replace the heavily modified carb that came off my car. The guy doing the work is going to build the new one with an electric choke. Any suggestions on the best place to tap into 12V or should I run a wire back to the fuse box?

I would run it from the fuse box to a power source that comes on with the ignition.

The windshield wiper is close by, and that circuit is live only when the key is on. That's how I wired mine.

You also may find an empty spot in the fuse box marked IGN

I used a wire on the heater resistor that had 12v with ignition on.
