Default Plug Wire thru motor mount

Any tips or tricks for routing wires thru motor mount? I saw where someone mentioned the assembly manual didn't really see anything there.

Yeah, smear dish washing soap onto the spark plug boot then shove it thru. The soap will make the boot slippery as snot on a doorknob.

Wires do NOT go through the mount...they go between the block and mount.

Hi C,
One way that makes it some what easier is to push the distributor end of the wire through the mount and then pull the rest of the wire through and on to the distributor.
The boot for the distributor is smaller than the spark-plug boot so fits through the space between the mount and block pretty easily.
Regards,
Alan

since your profile shows you have a modified engine have you considered running the wires along the lower edge of the valve covers and coming down from there?

I sometimes remove the boot on one end. And sometimes I just can work them thru as is. You definitely have to work from under the car.

Drivers side isn't bad but passenger side I cut the old wire and taped it to the new wire. Obviously I removed the boot and then I pulled it through the channel and behind the mount. Worked well and was easy.

Pull the boot off the distributor end and tape a string to it and pull the wire out from the spark plug end.
Remove the boot on the new wire and tape the string to it and pull the new wire back up.
