Corvette Steeroids - Feel The Road! Steeroids™
Offers Improved Steering Feel -
Recirculating ball steering is vague and unresponsive, especially "on center".

Steeroids Are Lighter Weight -Compared to the stock steering system.
Steeroids Offer Bolt On Installation -Absolutely no welding, or drilling. Installs with basic hand tools in approximately 3 hours.
Stock Pump Used -Existing or readily available power steering pump and brackets can be used.

This is a worthy modification. I debated it, mainly the cost, when I was restoring an 81 a few years ago. 3 hour to install is a stretch but still worth the time. Really changes the feel of the car.

Really???
G'day,
I have to call "bulldust" on one of your statements, "Recirculating ball steering is vague and unresponsive, especially on center". If that is so, then why is every large truck and bus on the road today fitted with a recirculating ball steering box? I recently retired from driving buses for the last 21 years, and EVERY BUS I DROVE had a recirculating ball steering box fitted at the factory.
I have driven large trucks, mainly Scania, and they all had recirculating ball steering boxes. I have a Borgeson #800108 steering box fitted to my 1974 coupe and it steers just as well as my R&P fitted 1983 Holden Commodore and 2010 Holden Cruze.
Maybe you guys don't know how to build a steering box, or maybe you are trying to discredit recirculating ball steering boxes to make your product appear better, but whatever the case, telling lies about a competitor's product will only make you look stupid and ignorant. And who would want to buy products from people like that?
Lift your game!
Regards from Down Under.

As you go faster you want slower steering ratio. I have power steering. Do you have the ~2.9 available with power?
