I have removed what I hope is the last Bubba modification on my 68 convert. The PO used wood strips and velcro to hold the rear passenger side quarter panel in place. The driver side qt panel was completely missing when I got the car. Attached are Bubba's modification with wood strips and velcro, the correct finished job on the driver side (sill plate is not installed) and how to oven bake the paint on the trim strips to speed up the drying process. The oven needed cleaning anyway, but you might not want your wife to see you do this step.
