Default Bronze 69 tires

235/70 rear<br/>235/60 front

Love the color and look of your ride. I have a 72 BB Coupe that has run 225/70 x 15 on 8.5 Appliance wheels for more than 25 years. She needs new tires and 15s are getting harder to find. I want US made tires and just wonder how is your front tire to fender clearance. Your not much wider and probably close to the same sidewall or a bit shorter. I just DO NOT want the have the tire hit the fender.

Thanks
Joel

Default Tire sizes

[QUOTE=rcread;1591955065]Halibrand 15x8.5. 255/60R15 on rear, 235 on front.

Looks Great!
Your Halibrands look close to my Appliance 15 x 8.5" and I am assuming close to zero offset (4-4.25" back spacing). ANY rubbing issues??

Thanks
Joel

No problems with front or rear, did have problem at rear with 255's fender rub on road bumps

What is the backspacing on those wheels and do you have any issues with the tires rubbing?

What size tires are you running on the front and back? I'm putting 15" X 8.5" x 3.5" backspacing Vector wheels on mine and trying to figure out what size tires to run, especially since the wheels stick-out past the fenders just a little bit.

I will check and post up later. I have to add- My rear fender lip was modified to add 1-1/4" width at the top, so it covers more of the tire than a stock fender lip will.

275/60/15 on the rear. Front; undecided for the daisy wheels. I have 215/70/15 I think on the corvette rim.

These are 7" wide for the C2s, but also available in 8-1/2" wide for C3s.
