Do you need one or are you only surprised at the price? For most model years, when a mirror needs to be re-silvered, local glass/mirror shops can do it.

I was wondering if the map light worked, and the clear plastic fell right off when I tried it. I don't know if I want a map light that bad.

Have that option on my 73. Still works but don't believe I have ever actually used the map light.

I replaced the glass in mine, I've used the map light a few times since 75 has no other overhead light. $250 seems high, I'd let mine go for $240!

I see the complete mirrors with map light on eBay motors often for around $120.
