Default Suggestions for EFI fuel filter

I'm putting together the fuel lines for my EFI conversion and getting to the point of picking a fuel filter to use. System setup is an intank fuel pump and 3/8 lines, so with that, what filter do you guys recommend (or warn to stay away from)? I figure I need a 10 micron filter which can fit adapters for the inlet and outlet to 6AN.

More info, well, I'm using a Walbro 255 fuel pump (GSS-340) in the tank. Already mentioned that fuel lines will be 3/8" (6AN); the fuel system will run around 43 psi. Haven't settled on an ECU yet, but I leaning toward Holley.

What other information is needed?

I am sure that the holley system is good but there has been a lot of talk here about the f.a.s.t injection .look up both and see what filters they are using .Both are good.

I went w/ a Russell 650133. less than $30. Easy to clean- disassemble and compatible w/ alcohol.

And if you want a trick mount for around $10- look for a Billet aluminum bolt on clamp bracket 1 1/4" used on roll cage.

Fits the filter perfectly-

Finishing the coil relocation and O2 sensor- then it'll be mounted on the firewall pass side

Unless you want flashy, use a GM stock type fuel filter and the 3/8" repair lines with the fitting on one end. I don't know what the fitting is called but almost any auto repair place has the repair lines with the ends. It will have a flare and o-ring on the end with the nut behind the flare. couple it to the rest of the steel fuel line with a flared or compression coupling.

I have a 77 with TPI and an in-tank pump. I used a GF-481 fuel filter, which is a laser welded stainless steel with female threads on both ends. I mounted it in the top center of my spare tire carrier where it is accessible, fairly well protected, and lower than the tank. It is also disposable and readily available.

I used a Earl's very similar to what Richard454 showed, and it sucks. It's a sintered bronze element that plugs up every 2000 miles (with a brand new stainless tank, so it's not due to crap in the tank). I've since bought a $150 Fuel lab filter that looked similar, but it's 9" long and 2" in diameter. No wonder the AN6 line looked like AN3 in the pic!

Whatever you get, make sure you can get to it and change it on the side of the road, and have an extra if it's not an over the counter OEM part you can get at the local parts house. It sucks having to limp home keeping it below 3000 RPM.

Edit-add

For EFI, you need 10-20 micron, so it has to have a lot of surface area, and doubly so if you are running a return line system.

For My 383 vette, I'm using a cheap chinese unit from ebay with a stainless mesh filter like http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-auto-Fuel-filter-Balck-with-2pcs-AN6-adaptor-fittings-2pcs-AN8-adaptor-/221480836456?hash=item3391495d68 , but I'm not sure if it's the same one. The one I bought said it was a 20 micron filter.

Thanks for the replies, I'm really like the idea of using a GM piece that you can easily get at any parts store.
