Where are the low option C-3 drivers?
Hi everybody. Don't see to many low option C3 drivers out there either for sale or being used. I hope they are not being cut up for parts to keep more "valuable" models going. It seems that there more a/c cars than ever as well as l82 and perf suspension. The black book shows how many cars are made with these options. So get that low / no option Vette out, fix it up and DRIVE it! I am sick of seeing honda civics with spoilers higher than the St. Louis arch.

Lets here it for the low option vettes!! Mine's a 76 stingray - came with little options - air, electric windows, and luggage rack(???). Now it has a ZZ4, Richmond 5spd, 17x8" alum wheels, along with various other "upgrades". :D :D :D

My black book isn't handy at the moment. I think my only option was power windows, unless the deluxe interior was an option.

Well--I have 76 L-82. Unless the radio was considered an option I don't have any. Oops, power steering and power brakes. Those might have been standard.

I have no options on my 68'... well ... originally it had the 427/390hp engine which was an option but other than that: no power brakes, no power steering, no a/c,....

Crank windows and right foot only cruise control - I believe it was an L-48 - did have factory luggage rack........

mine was a low option.....L-89, stereo, tinted glass, aux hardtop, posi. No power nuthin....only power is provided by the rat and my muscle to steer the car...and frankly, I don't know why ya wanna have power steering and brakes...no effort at all to stop and park

Mine was far from loaded......L79(350hp), M21 4speed, 3.70 posi, headrests and AM/FM radio (still optional in '68). Headrests are a fairly uncommon option that year. The original owner obviously wanted a small block performance oriented car without any of the "creature comforts". Fine with me!!

Mine has only power windows, power steering (which I wish I didn't have), and T/T steering (which might have been standard?). Everytime I work on the engine compartment I remember what a blessing it is to have no A/C, no AIR pump, or other crap cluttering the engine bay...

WOW! I am very impressed with the response. It is good to see so many normal Vettes being used. My original question was because when I look at classifieds, so many of them are touting "all avalible options". And I didn't remember seeing that many "Loaded" C3s until 78 - 82. My dream.....P/S and P/B and perf suspension only. nuttin, else.

My car is as option free as you can get (or just about). L-46 and a radio are the only things I can figure it left the factory with. No air, no power anything. Just a powerful engine and a radio :)

Mine was high options, but since I bought it most of the options have been removed (radio, AC, L82 motor) :eek:

Mine has all the right options, L-82, close ratio 4 spd and 3.73 gears. No A/C but most other gadgets were standard (power brakes and windows).
