You left out a few important details.
You must install the motor before you remove the nut and bolt.
The motor holds the regulator in place, if you take the bolt out first the regulator will unwind and could hurt you!



You will have to collapse the regulator to get it top fit into the bottom of the door.
There are two terminals on the motor, both get 12 volts positive.
One terminal is for UP and the other for down.
Apply 12 volts to only one terminal and GROUND the motor case.

Order new door panels.

Did I miss what they covered the holes in door panel with?
