Default vacuum valve question

Okay I have looked through my AIM and still cannot figure out what it is. When you take the passenger side fender louvers out, you are staring right at it. Mine does not have a vacuum hose connected to it. Double trouble I am sure.

When I look in my pass side louver I see the vac-valve for the wiper door (and the windshield washer bucket) etc.

Default Sounds like it might be the

vacuum relay for the headlights. Do your headlights operate properly? Is this thing held in a clamp attached to the upper edge under the passenger side fender?

Oh yeah, guess it probably is for the wipers like Mooser says

OK, Pics would help.
AC cars had a handful of stuff (throttling valve, etc) in that general area but I thought attached to the heater-box rather than the fender/wheel-well
Sorry couldn't be of more help

AC car or none AC car?

If you remove the passenger side louver on a 1970 AC car you are looking at the Heater/Water Shut-Off Control Valve.

Hi M,
Again, a/c car? I'm leaning towards axe's thought.
If not, perhaps this one? But I'd think you'd recognize this one.
The vacuum relay for the wiper door.
It's location moved around during 70 production from a location on the firewall near the master cylinder to being mounted on this apron.
Regards,
Alan

It should have 4 vacuum hoses connected to it. A small white stripe (control), and 3 large… red, green, and yellow.

Below is 1970 which shows a white stripe hose running to the shut off valve. You'll need to find where the hose is broke at.. the you can use some heat shring to extend the hose back to the valve. (assuming you want to fix it).
