Default Found part in door...

I have wobbly Windows. I took the door Panel off to have a look (still haven't figured it out). I removed the access panel and this was laying in the bottom of the door. What's the deal? I can't see where it goes and only hope that's it's just something that fell in there some how.....

It isn't a Corvette part, that much I can tell you.

Does not look like a stock piece to me -

This is only a guess - someone was locked out and they used it to unlock the door and it fell inside ??? Thin flat piece of metal, looks like a lock out tool -

It isn't a Corvette part. So, what is it? It's a stake for metal landscaping edging. You drive that through slots in the metal to stake the edging band to the ground. Anyone who's done some landscape work would recognize that immediately.

Over the years I've found some crazy stuff inside of cars.. Multiple times I've found pictures.... (that you'd not show your momma.. so guys check under your seats and rear compartment before you take your car in for carpet), Roach's.. (the non living type), a needle, dog tags, and the list goes on and on... If you've owned the car for a long long time.. please check before you bring it..

HA! My dog tags are under the seat RIGHT NOW.

Your right, weird stuff happeneds. The worst thing that I found was a beer can crushed under the cover where the air bag was supposed to be. I only happened to stumble across it when my face smashed into my steering wheel and the body shop showed me pictures of why it didn't go off...

I found a twenty year old "For Sale" sign inside of my left door.

Wish I could have purchased the car for the old asking price.
