Default Tie rods
Have 76 Vette does the inner tie rod turn clockwise and the outer turns counter clockwise?

Inner tie rod should have RH threads.
Outer tie rod should have LH threads.

The tie rods are threaded so that ONLY the adjustment collar needs to be turned to adjust each rod. They could be assembled incorrectly, of course.
