Default Is this a driver's side or passenger side exhaust bezel?

I need to make the openings in my aftermarket 70 rear clip for the exhaust bezels using the bezels but I'm not sure which one is the passenger side and which one is the driver's side. Which one is this?

Hi P,
The one in your picture is the left side bezel.
Regards,
Alan

They aren't interchangeable because one side of the bezel is contoured to fit the quarter panel and the other is contoured to fit the valance panel.

I could see the two were different but as there was no cutout for the exhaust bezels on the aftermarket clip I couldn't hold them in place to see which one went where.

Hi P,
Are there any fiberglass 'flanges' mounted in the clip to support the bezel?
Is there any guide for you to determine where to cut for the bezels?
Regards,
Alan

No, I was planning on making my own.

No, I was planning on holding the front of the bezel against the inside of the rear clip/exhaust filler panel, drawing a line, shaving up to about a 1/4 or 1/2 inch from the line, test fitting, shaving a little more, repeat, until the bezel fits in place.

Hi P,
Perhaps it would be a good idea for someone to give you a dimension for the distance BETWEEN the 2 'inner' flanges (opening to opening) which at least give you something to get started with.
The way the the bezels are made their outer edge configuration can hide a 1/4" inch goof, but not much more than that.
Is the underside of the clip shaped in such a way that you can hold the bezel against the glass and trace a line inside the bezel for you to follow?
Regards,
Alan

Yes, although I have to hold the bezel either inside the flange on the exhaust filler panel and the rolled edge on the face of the bezel keeps it from being in the exact correct position or I have to hold the bezel on the outside of the flange on the exhaust filler panel which results in the line I draw being out the other way. I guess what I'm trying to say is I can't get a perfectly placed line by holding the bezel on the inside/backside of the rear clip/exhaust filler panel.

It would be helpful if I could get an inside diameter measurement of the distance between the vertical flanges on a finished car.

Hi P,
33-5/16" from surface to surface.

Alan
