Vac. hose routing
Last week I had to replace the pass side exhaust manifold and put different valve covers on. In so doing I have gotten the vacuum hoses all put back incorrectly.
Please check out my picture and tell me if there is 2 EFE switches mounted on the thermostat housing.
I cant find another picture of a 79 L48 with 2 switches.
Thanks for looking!

Here is a better picture of what I am talking about. Is there 2 efe switches on the thermostat housing.
The diagrams from Willcox only shows 1 switch.

See below. The third vacuum switch connects into the distributor vacuum advance. Note this is from a 1980 assembly manual. For whatever reason when I bought .pdf versions of the manuals for my '79 I got '78 and '80 assembly manuals. The '78 assembly manual does not show that third switch and it is not present on my '79 L82 engine.

VAC. issue
Thanks Mike for the reply. None of the diagrams I have seen seems to match my motors vac. hose routing. Too complicated for my feeble mind. Gonna hunt a corvette guru I guess. Car runs ok but rough idle.

Try here. Perhaps the 1979 California diagram? Again it appears that the third switch is for the distributor vacuum advance.
