A while back there was a thread discussing a Father's Day drag race in the Sierra Foothills that seemed to get a bit of interest. There's a drag race coming up in the central California area this weekend - it sure would be nice to see some vettes racing there! (no, my bone stock, tired L48 won't be one of them).

Saturday is 74 and older with old fashioned flag starts, and Sunday is all years (not sure if they'll bring out the lights on Sunday or not). Racers can usually get quite a few runs in - just depends on how quickly you get back in line again.


This is about an hour and a half from the South San Jose area, and a little over 2 hours from the Sacramento area. I hope to be there on Sunday.
