Roller door window puzzle
I took apart the door panel in order to fix window from sagging.
Once out I found several pieces at the bottom of the door and I realized that the roller door window was not holding the window.
I'm trying to figure out how they should be installed and the position of each one.
These are the components
An this the layout where components seem to be coming from
This roller in particular is the one not holding the window

i would say those two white plastic pieces are the no.6s the bush that neatly fits into the glass, the nut looks like a no.4
both rollers(3 and 9) are actually in a bag at the right side of the skinned door pic.
9 is the one you say is not holding

Hi again, here's an index for the 74 AIM.
This helps me find the part a lot quicker.

well ok the 68 / early 69 were different so I'm guessing yours isn't like that .the chances of you having early 69 doors are slim so we will assume yours is relevant to the late 69 onwards
that's a good pic showing what's ACTUALLY attached to the glass. (it shows the same as the one peterbuilt posted earlier, his shows the passenger door glass and your pic shows the drivers door glass ! )
all the black pieces are metal , white is plastic.
using that diagram ,the parts on your (lounge chair? ) are two Es, one F, and one I.
the roller you said is giving you trouble is C in that diagram.
Where are you at with it ? is it dismantled or is most of it still in the door ? we need some pics of how it is now please.

Just to be clear, my car is a 74 with manual windows.
On both layouts (peterbuild and mine) you can see that components seems to be slightly differents. For instance, the nut "I" (#4 on old Peter's layout) has been replaced by the "H"
So, I missing parts "H"and "D" . Wondering how should I tight "H" without removing the window.
BTW, part "B" is black on the pic and as far as I know is plastic.

How should you tighten H with out taking the glass out ?
I have never tried doing it that way , I used an angle grinder disc tighten/loosen tool once I got it out.
So your plan is to loosen it off and try and add those pieces while its still in the door ?
They do actually make the proper tool for them as well.
