Default Special Holley Tool

Does anyone know where to get this type of screw driver. The "screws" hold down the metering plate on on the secondaries of my tri power but I have never seem this type before. Is a holley tool or what? I may have to start grinding a screw driver down??
Thanks, Pete

I think the screw head is called "clutch" type. I have some in the form of bits that came in a screw driver bit kit. I've never had a chance to use them.

Thanks Res,
I will look through my driver sets just in case I have such an animal. At least I know the name of it now. I guess that means they are not the correct original screws!
Thanks, Pete

do you have a Harbor Freight near you? that's the cheapest place to get a security bit set which should have the clutch head bits in them (look for the red or white rubber molded bit sets around $5).

or find a hardware store in town near where the trailer parks are. that's where I got my first clutch head driver as they were common on mobile homes back in the 70's/80's...

Those are the original screws for the metering plates. I purchased my driver at Sears, Craftsman back in the early '70's and I believe you can still order one through Holley on-line.

I made one years ago out of a robinson screw driver. I picked one with the correct length for the slot then ground down the top and bottom edges of the bit to fit the narrow width of the fastener.

they have cheaper sets, but that is a good one to have around. especially if you have a habit of losing bits like I do.

Call me Bubba but I always ground down a flat blade screwdriver to fit those screws.
