Default Flowmaster run rich

I installed Flowmaster last week. I had purple hornies Glass packs before. Would the flow rate of the new mufflers cause a rich condition and carbon foul the plugs.

I would think there's a strong possibility that the Flowmasters might have a higher flow rate than the glasspacks, and if that difference was significant, then you'd have a lean condition....

When installed the glass packs I also ran true 2 1/2 duals. I had to adjust idle circuit to get it to run. I made it richer. After installing Flowmaster my plugs fouled ,carbon foul. Or maybe they were already fouled

There's a lesson to be learned here....when in trouble, don't assume the worst. Check the basics first.

since the install you have fouled atleast 2 spark plugs it is evident that it is rich, change the jets.

For those that think the flowmaster is causing it to be lean that maybe true when switching from stock exhaust but, he switched from basically straight pipes.
