Default Rearend twist

Just wondering on some rear ends they seem to be in a bind and, when you take the bushing out on the front it wants to twist up. Others don't go anywhere. Reason I'm asking the one that twists up has a vibration that comes on under load around 3 k

Hi c
Since the differential is bolted to the differential crossmember with 4 bolts, and the crossmember to the frame with the 2 bushings and 2 bolts at least in theory the differential shouldn't move.
Isn't the snubber/bolt there to help cushion any movement?
If the differential moves wouldn't it have to be the 4 bolts, or the 2 bolts, or both, or the snubber?
I'm thinking of car's with differentials being used with engines that originally came in them. Not big motors making big horsepower and big torque.
Regards,
Alan

I probably didn't word this right I'm good at that. If you remove the snubber bolt this one springs upward where another didn't. I'm thinking its in some kind of bind.

The 2 bolts holding the cross member to the frame through the rubber bushings were probably tightened before the snubber was installed. Loosen those 2 bolts and break the bushings loose, then install the snubber and retighten all of them at the same time.

Aluminum discs? Instead of the rubber bushings? Maybe that's the problem.

Because without the snubber, the drive line angle is off. Even with aluminum reinforcements, you still need the snubber.

I didn't delete the snubber. I'm just comparing two almost same cars one has a vibration the other didn't. It's not the usual suspects. So this is first thing that sticks out.
