would like to try a new aftermarket prom for my 82. Any one happy or unhappy with there prom change.

I changed mine and could not be happier with it. Car is much more drivable. The new chip changes when the converter locks. You will be happy you did it. Be sure to use premium fuel with it. I got mine from Summit.

I went with the Hypertec stage 1 prom and it drove like a whole new car! It takes 5 minutes to do and the only thing you need to do is disconnect your battery while installing it and fill the tank with super! Then enjoy!

that's what I wanted to hear .it sounds like a good investment for the car.i will look at summit and see what they have.
