How many of you buy toys that "match" your C3 - and other cars ?
We have two boys, so I have a good excuse for buying toy cars. :lol:
I have had good luck when looking for toys that closely resemble my "toys".
Here are two HotWheels that I have on top of my monitor at work.
These are "out of the box" - un re-touched paint. Look how closely this
Mustang resembles mine !! It blew my mind when I saw it in the store !!
This is the only picture of me in my '75. :(
... and here is my "75" vette RC car - for fun at work in our 200ftx60ft lab.
Well, am I the only one that needs to grow up ??? :p:

No pics but my parents just got me a HotWheels-ish C3. Metal bumpers and non-limp tail but close enough. Hood doesn't open very well so I'm not completely satisfied. I've had a larger (1:18 I think) C5 for much longer than I've owned my c3. Maybe some day... Never bothered with '92 Camry or '84 Honda models! My dad also has a '64 Chevy2Nova model to match his car.

I have a Franklin Mint 82 Vette. Except it is red and I have a silver. Otherwise, a great miniature. Also a 63 Split Window and some dinky thing I got from Parts America.

I have been trying to find one that matches mine for the longet time and you got two!!! I don't even have kids for an excuse! :lol: Hows your ride coming, get it welded yet? Mine should be going in soon, still waiting on the WS.

Nice collection, RED73. Bummer - it looks like the only one that might be a
73 is the #57 car. The stock chromies look nice !!

I have an Autoart 1:18 scale of my CE. Would love to have a Franklin Mint but I almost passed out when I saw what they were going for on Ebay

Well, as a matter of fact........
Jeweler used this pic to create this...
18k solid gold, just under an ounce, 2 inches long, ruby tail-lights, diamond back-up lights and rodium plated wheels for that aluminum look. :cheers: :D

I would love to collect toys that resemble my C3, but I seem to have a hard time finding anything that is 1979 specific!
It was the Vette with the highest production, you'd figure they'd be easy to find!!

i hear that adam... i cant find anything SMALLBLOCK 69 related.. everything 69 is the L88 or L71 ( i think) heck.. the model I'm building of a baldwin motion 69 (going on 4 years) I've had to make my own hood to resemble mine.. and now I'm installing a hood scoop on the real one... so its time to start all over again :crazy:

Adam I have a 79 model that I have had since I got my real 79. Bought it at Mid America. Very expensive though.
