Default Hot august nights meetup

We're going to meet up at Summit Racing 960 East Glendale in Sparks about 11 am on Thursday. Easy to get to from the airport. Glendale Ave runs east-west on the north side of the Grand Sierra Hotel. Just take Glendale east about 2 miles and you can't miss it. Don't forget to bring your wallet, as there will be things you can't live without!

Seeya' there!

Dave

Heading back for the umteenth year in a row. Besides east Sparks where can I park my car trailer? I've seen that high school along the freeway, Wooster? Are they doing it again (can't get them to answer email or phone)?

Bruce

Oh yeah, got a $300 shopping list for Summit. :-)

I'll be there for the first time ever. Heard about this from a friend, so the wife and me will be there. Will try to be there. Would be nice to meet some of you guys. Anyone bringing their cars?

The show and shine deal at Summit is Tuesday. Nothing on Thursday that I've heard about.

I did not enter HAN, but I'll be out cruising. I want to see what they have in the way of drag racing. The best was the 1/8th mile bracket racing years using about 5 time classes out at the Stead airport. That Sparks Nugget 100 dash last year was a joke with a big entry fee.

I'll probably go by Georges and hook up with all his other Vette buddies. He works on a few C-1 and C-2's also

What a great bunch of C-2's showed up at Summit today

All these beautiful perfect paint jobs. Yours especially

I even polished out my whole car with McGuires show car and did the wheels, tires, pressure washed underneath. Spent 3 hours detailing and it is nothing in comparison to yours

Thanks George, but your C3 is bad to the bone! And it sounds even better.

It was good to put faces with a few of the guys, I wish more had been able to make it.

I'll post a pic when I get the camera back here from Reno.

I just put in this 10 1/2 pound flywheel and i'm getting used to it with 3.55 rear end. I got rid of the 4.11 to make my first 4 gears more usable I have my idle at 1200 to make the vette only slightly shake at idle. I had a 22 pound billet steel.

I know you have the power to launch that badass machine, but I'll bet your clutch hates you every time you hit a stoplight.
