I ended up hacking up the dust boots from my lower ball joints when I was removing my front springs. Now I just need to find a couple of new boots to put everything back together but I can't find anybody who sells just the boots. They all want to sell the whole ball joint. Anyone know of a place where I can get just the rubber boot? I've tried Summit and all of the auto parts stores near my house. I'll try to call Zip and Corvette Central next but the part isn't listed separately in their catalogs.
What the heck? Don't people mess up the boots without needing to replace the ball joint? :rant:

Matt, the folks at Ecklers or Mid America usually have the Poly version that they sell seperately... just at thought :jester

I have seen the Poly versions at local speed shops and 4X4 shops.

Dealerships here in Detroit aren't open on the weekends. That's something that's been ticking me off since I moved here 4 years ago.

I found the poly boots in the Corvette Central catalog. $7.95 for all four. Zip only sells the boot with the ball joint itself. They should be here by the end of the week.
