Finally got one 68 bb conv
Paid 16k probably worth 14, but it seems no one is selling for what everyone here said it was worth so I got it. (patience was never one of my best qualities)
It is blue with hardtop aftermarket hood. 10 foot paint job, needs some interior rest, bumbers rechromed. NOM engine that runs strong. It just arrived so I have not had a chance to start making a wish list. Thanks for all your help here, I avoided SERIOUSLY overpaying for a car. I am sure you will be getting many questions from me as I make her better and better. She is joining by 76 and my 91 zr-1. Who hoo 3 vettes!!!
Hey, speaking of questions, how hard is it to convert her to an hei? I know buying it and replacing the old distributor is about a 10 minute job, but how do you connect to the existing wiring?

Congrats on the 68! I'm in the middle of a frame off restoration on a 68 427 convertible too. Hope you won't get too deep in the restoration, mine is sucking all my money, but at the end, the results are getting amazing.
As soon as I have my homepage ready I'll post it with the tons of pics I've taken. Anyway, good luck with the new vette and enjoy it!
