Vettastic, I believe he's from Canada. He need the info for the G-Tech to input how much his vehicle weighs. I believe it only takes English and not Imperial units.

Guys,
Water has a specific gravity of 1.00000 and one litre of water weighs one kilogram exactly. Petrol ( or gasoline ) has a specific gravity of about 0.7, therefore one litre of petrol will weigh about 700 grams, or 0.7 kilograms. Multiply that by the number of litres your tank holds (about 60 l in my 1974) and you have the weight of a tankful of fuel. About 42 kilograms. Multiply that by 2.2 if you want pounds.
