could anyone tell me what wires go where on my '71. I took the wires off the old starter without marking them (stupid I know). I have a large purple, a large red and a small red and a black.

R goes to the coil + and on my 69, it is yellow. This may be your red & black
S goes to the #12 purple ignition switch
B goes to the bat + and #12 Red and fusible link and goes to horn relay.

This as according to 69 manual
