Anyone tried turning a lawn tractor into a vette-cart for kids?
I have an old lawn tractor that runs fine. I am trying to think of a way to make it into a go-cart for the kids. I have access to a welder, so customizing and fabricating is an option. Has anyone seen plastic body kits that resemble C3's that would be suitable for a go-cart project?

I would be REALLY worried about the relatively high center of gravity, mixed with a vehicle that is capable of REALLY sharp turns, going way faster then originally intented. (even if only 20mph) For Adults, fun, for kids (and I am not a big kid person) I think it would be crazy without seriously lowering the chassis.

Other than having a lawnmower engine, this isn't really what you were asking for but I've been looking for an excuse to share this photo ever since I took it at one of the local car shows. :D I thought this little T-Bucket was pretty cool! :cool:
