Default red 72 convertible lt-1

would like to hear from the guy who has a red 72 convertible lt-1..i think he has a motor that is speced about the same as mine(i know he has the same cam and heads) that he drag races :steering:

well your car looks like the same..here is what is going on..i think we have pretty much the same engine specs and i dynoed my car today and i got a big surprise..only 251 hp and 252 torq at the wheels...i was wondering what kind of power you are making??you can see the details in the topic section with the heading of horsepower..thank you

No offense or anything, but the Sportsman 2s and AFRs are very different heads.

I'd put him at about 330 rwhp with the time slips he's running.

I don't have quite the compression you have but the cam looks the same. I don't know the flow numbers on your heads but mine flow pretty well. Something definitly sounds wrong if that is all you dynoed at. Mine needs to be tuned I feel there is more in my combo. I just need to get the carb set right. It is just an out of the box 750 DP Holley.
