Test Drive after 3 Years WORK!!! Pics
http://www.scubajkd.com/Vette/Stage%207.htm
Okay guys after 3 years we finally got her back on the road for a test drive. Electric fan burnt out, carb ran like crap, steeroids system was catching on the headers, and the gas gauge burnt out but I could not be happier. We have some bugs to work out but my baby lives again. Check out the dirty pics.

CONGRATS!!! I am heading down your road with my 68 vert. Already got the dewitts twin rad elec fan combo in. Have the steeroids (not installed yet, but I am pretty sure I am going to have the header issue so I am waiting till I talk to my exhaust guy) I think mine will be done in 3 years.

I looked at your web site. You got a lot of premo hardware there. I really like the rim set-up too.
Does the cam give your vacuum booster too little vacuum?

Thanks for the nice comments and ecouragement guys. To the vacum question I am currently running the hydratech boost braking system which does not require vacum but rather power steering line pressure to apply the brakes. I dont like the pedal feel on the road though so I am going to change it back to stock booster. Should not be a problem as I have a aluminum vacum canister.

What did you use for your heater hoses??? Is that a cover over the rubber hoses? Where did you get it at?
Oh yea, sweet ride again

Moss, looks great. Your attitude on the problems makes me feel better after spending a ton on a bb rework and having it burning oil from most likely crap guides and seals the machine shoip put in.

I used the summit stainless heater hoses as well as for the radiator. They are really nice. You can get them with rubber or stainless covers. I choose stainless and really like them.
