Jacksonville and Orange Park are all the same general area. We are just south of Orange Park. My wife works in downtown Jax. 69MyWay is also in Orange Park. There are more of us, but can't think of who they are.

This is a great place for car cruising. Every Saturday night there is designated cruise-in spot and the lots are packed with all kinds of neat cars. :auto:

Give us a shout via email when you get to town.

Man, that sounds like sooo much fun. There's nowhere to do that in this entire city. Also, I've been looking for a different job and there is ZERO opportunities here. Double whammy! I told the wife we're outta here but sh says the kids blah blah school blah blah my mother blah blah. HELP!!

I'll be stationed on FFG-8 USS MCINERNEY. I'll be moving down soon. More than likely, i'll be living on the ship.

I need to find a place that will rent me a storage area to keep all my tools and equipment and will let me work on the car. Does anybody know of a place like that in the area?

Tons of storage lots up and down Mayport road, and other streets near the base...you got NO problems getting storage any size you want....room for 2 cars is needed....electric too, SOME even airconditioned....

Albert,
I live in Arlington @15 miles from Mayport.

I went through the yellow pages for storage near mayport.

Atlantic Self Storage - 310 Mayport Rd. - 904-249-4441
(Climate controled available) 7am - 7pm access http://www.atlanticselfstorage.com
American Mini Storage - 1770 Mayport road - 904-249-2800
Pan Am Mini Storage - 2383 Mayport Rd. - 904-241-2300
(24 hour access - listed as Business-Commercial-Residential)

If none of these fit the bill then let me know there are some on or near St. Johns Bluff Road, about 10 miles from Mayport.

Thanks for the info. The american storage looks like it is going to fit the bill. They have electrity and lighting in their units and will allow me to work on my car there and for $84 dollars, that isn't bad.
