Re: How much does a stock rally wheel weigh? (74 vert)
I don't know about just the wheel but the wheel, trim ring and derby cap with a 245-60/15 radial installed weighed 45 pounds each on my '76.

I'm sorry I don't have a 15x8 available but a 15x7 weighs about 23 lbs.

Dude, you reply is interesting there, I just went to the storage shed there and measured the stock steel wheel with a 235/60/15 tire on it...for my '72, and naked without the trim/cap....weighed 54 lbs....sure you didnt type a slide there??? or is that I have a SBRadial tire, therefore heavier by allmost ten lbs???
I"m curious to measure my rear tires now....
hehe...just did....take a guess....275/50/17 on a '92 vette rim....
48 lbs.....now I"d say another 5 lbs for the adaptor and extra lug nuts...
interesting...going aluminum saves a goodly amount..

Name calling is unnecessary and very immature. Everyone here is only trying to help a fellow enthusiast. The golden rule - "If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all."
