Interesting Pro Street Vette on Ebay...
That car would be interesting for me if I'd have the money available..
It even has a Ford 9 inch rear end installed :cool:

be careful if you live in NY or Ca, this car prolly would not pass emissions inspection (ya think?), unless ya trade 10 bucks and a six pack... :-)

It has a six point cage and it would only be good for higher than NHRA 10.99
Norval 4.56 really isn't that bad when you have super tall tires. It would turn some heads just like your supercharged monster.

Grand Sport. If you open up any of the interior pictures you can see that it barely qualifies for a 6 point. The 45 or so degree door bar to actually be legal has to cross the drivers upper arm between the shoulder and elbow.

I was also reading about it and looking at the pictures. When I said, what's he talking about 8 point for when it's only a 6 point

It might be an 8-point, 4 in the back, 2 behind the seats, and 2 in front of the seats. But most likely not legal for 9.99 and quicker. He would need it going down the A-pillar, if I'm not mistaken and that's why he says it does low 10's.

Unless the rules have changed recently (or a T-top Vette must meet convertible requirements), a 6-pt cage is good to 9.99/135mph in the 1/4.
gkull is right though. The side bars must pass b/w the shoulder and elbow of the driver who is racing the car. At one time I had a cage in my old Mustang that was illegal by 2-3" and at one track I got busted for it. It was a tad too low, which made the car more practical as a street driver b/c of ease of entry/egress. I soon had those two bars modified to better meet the rule requirements. :)
