Here is a rear bumper for you....American sports Car Design's ZR-1 rear cap for the C3 - this one uses factory 78 lights as opposed to the more rectangulat ones and also has tthe 1991 third brakelight.

Not made anymore by ASD - but they sold their molds to Vanacor I believe.

Hey 74-Roadster! Love that grill! Wouldn't happen to have any drawing? Maybe I could make one for my car. :yesnod:

I like that, looks real clean. Add fender flares and it would be complete. I once saw a german vette that had a clean rear like that (and flares and a flip front) DAMN fine car that was.

How did you do that? It looks great. I don't think I'd be allowed to get rid of the front plate (NY) but then again, who cares what the cops think? I'll just throw it in the front window when they go by.

Is there a center grill that you can buy, or did you fab it?

I made it one piece at a time. Another forum member, MIKER, helped me modify the lower brackets with his plasma cutter and we welded on flat stock at a new compound angle to mount the grill. I modified a fiberglass nose and built the grill one bar at a time. After all the bars were done, I made a wooden template to hold them in place and had a shop weld the aluminum together.

Since I'm really set on a full tilt nose, I'll be building another one someday since it'll need to mount to the body and not the frame. Twin Turbo is building a sweet full tilt nose, I plan on taking notes from him to build mine. :yesnod: :yesnod:

If you want a more step by step description, e:mail me at boles@cowtown.net

I had a good write up on it, but the file disappeared when I upgraded my computer. So I'll be rewriting it since people have already showed an interest.

Thanks to those who posted pix.

fauxrs that rear looks cool. I wonder if a pace car spoiler would fit on that?

kid vette are your bumpers molded in? Did you do that? I would like to know how to do that, it makes the car look even smoother.

74 roadster your frill is awesome, that is just a fantastic job.

Check my sign for pictures, I didn't do the mods myself, think it was done for maybe 20 years ago before it was imported to Sweden. I'm not sure but I believe that the parts came from http://www.acivette.com, they have some simular products.

Some people thinks it looks like a raped car but I like the looks of it. There's enough with original cars.

When I bought the car the front bumper was already molded in and the rear bumpers had been removed. I recently had a local Corvette shop blend in the rear where the bumpers had been. I thought they did a great job.

Larson that car looks great. The extra scoop in the middle of the hood really blends in well with the rest of the car.
Looks like your bumpers are molded in too. I think I have decided to do the mold in thing on mine as soon as I decide on a custom front.
