Water diverters on door sills, do they work?

Water diverters on door sills, do they work?
I have a problem with water running down the inside of the door jamb and onto the sill then on the carpet of my 74 coupe. Will the installation of water diverters help this problem?

On the header bar go to TOOLS then Tech Tips & then to C3 there is an article on door leaks. Might be of some help. :steering:

Yes, I loosen mine , run a bead of black silicone and tighten them back down. they work perfect. :chevy
