I have been blowing the radio fuse in my 73 vette lately, and found the wire for the Idle Stop Solenoid disconnected and hanging near the valve cover. Does the ISS get power from the radio circuit? The TCS is listed under that circuit, but no mention of the ISS. Thanks, Joe

I show it as circuit 141 on the 74 schematic, my guess is the 73 is very similar. Same circuit as the radio, there is also a vacuum advance solenoid and the hood air door solenoid on the same circuit.

Thanks, I hoped it would be that. I solved another problem today! Also solved the sudden low idle speed at the same time. Happy day. :) Joe

PS, where is the best place to get wiring schematics?

The schematic in my factory service manual is a little more clear to read then the one I bought from http://www.lectriclimited.com/ But their's is laminated and all on one page. :cheers:

Thanks for the website. I was going to get one of those laminated diagrams from one of the big vendors, but if they are only the base car with no options, it won't be of much help, since my car has almost every option there is, and that's where most of the electrical problems arise. Thanks, Joe

The Lectric Limited schematic I have has insets with all the available options. I don't think it skips anything.
