AeroTurbine mufflers...sound chambered - listen here
Anyone heard of or used these AeroTurbine mufflers? They claim to flow BETTER than NO muffler at all!
Anyway, they sound pretty BADA$$...here's a clip I found on www.exhaustsoundclips.com:
AeroTurbine Mufflers (<=== the sound clip is here)
Nice "gurgle" I must say!

That link crashed my Firefox browser. First time that has ever happened.

Yeah, it's hard to tell w/o actually hearing them in person. This recording could be right up @ the exhaust or 100' feet away...who knows??? Also, I just have tiny speakers, so probably not getting the "growl" that they probably have.
Eddie70:
Sorry about the crash...you can just go to
Exhaust Sound Clips and then search for AeroTurbine...I actually did a search for "chambered" when I found it. ExhaustSoundClips has changed their layout recently and it took a while before I found a "search" field, but it's hidden there somewhere!!!

Here's a better link to the "Hear It" links on their website...you can search for vehicle make or type:
AeroTurbine Sound Clip Search

Is it just me, or does this look like the same theory used by the STS baffles, Moroso Spiral Flow mufflers, Lobak (sp?) and the DIY auger inserts (and maybe others I don't know about)?

Alwayswave: Do you mean like on a car with the mufflers mounted in front of the axle? The pipes from there back to the bumper being open? Or that our mufflers are right on the end... with just downturns before the bumper?
