Default Howard Stewart water pumps

Anyone using the Howard Stewart aluminum pumps I see on Ebay? How do they compare to other water pumps, Edelbrock, Milodon, etc.
Thanks

Is that the same as Stewart components? If so, I had a high flow aluminum pump, stage II. It started leaking a little over a year since I installed it. It could've been that my motor mount broke at the Corvette Challenge and I heard my fan it the shroud. That could've tweaked the shaft and cause the leak, but who knows.

I've got a Stage II also and have had no problems with it. I believe it was money well spent.

These pumps are on Ebay and sold by Performance liquidators, they give a pump #23103 to compare to...made by Stewarts Components (Howard Stewart) out of High Point, NC...that's all I know of these pumps...

I have the Stage II Also. I bought it on Ebay brand new for $79.95. Stewart's website has it listed for $159.95, I think I got a good deal, will let you know once I am able to drive it again. From what I've been told they move alot of water and are supposed to be one of the best water pumps out there.

Default Stewart Pumps

If Stewart is good enough for Nascar Engine builders they are good enough for me. I am running one on a 427 car seems to work good.

That's the one I have been looking at to buy, seems like a good deal, didn't know anything about the seller except for the feedback, did you have to change the thermostat, I think they recommend to change to a high flow thermostat....
Thanks to all for your imput

I went from a stock rebuild to a stewart.
This is on a 460 hp 434 running the stock radiator.

There was no difference in cooling at idle or speed.

It is a nice pump tho...

I didn't know that they made them in High Point... I thought the company was located in MI. I have to say after installing the stage II and a DeWitts I have not a neary temp problem. Dave.
