Intake Manifold Torque Specs
Could someone tell me the correct torque for a 1970 LT-1---350/370 intake manifold bolt? The shop manual lumps all 350's together and does not separate the aluminum intake from the cast---thanks---I have the day off and am diddling on the Vette in the garage---oh what fun it is

I have never torqued any intakes in my life. Most of the time it is to difficult to get a torque wrench in there. I have always made them just tight. Never had one leak. I do follow the tightening sequence though.

When I mounted my Stealth aluminum, I think the specs were 30ftlb according to the sequence.

I've never used a torque wrench on my intake.. I usually tighten the intake pretty tight...
