what sort of price is a receiver/drier to fit a '79 vette? .. and can anyone recoment a good (mail order/website) company who sell them?

I bought mine from a local parts store for about $50. Do you have an vaccum pump and guages or are you going to install it and then take it to a shop to evac and recharge?

While you are at it (did I say that? ) replace the orafice tube as well. It should be less than $5.
