1968 Vette Convertible For Sale
I am selling my 68 vette.. It has 52K miles on it, I am the 2nd owner, #'s matching 327/350HP, 4 speed with 3.73 Posi rear..
Has Power steering, Power brakes, Power Windows and black soft top
Carb is correct model but 69 date code..
Car had a frame off last year, most everything was replaced but we did not touch the engine or tans, but rebuilt the rear end..
Here is a list of what was done..
Rear trailing Arms
rear spring
rear shocks
rear end rebuilt
gas tank replaced
sending unit replaced
spare tire cleaned and painted
Frame sand blasted and painted
Front end rebuilt, all ball joints, groments, etc
4 new calipers
4 new pads
new stainless steel brake lines
new stainless steel gas lines
Power steering pump rebuilt
Power brakes rebuilt..
New seat covers
new carpet
Rebuilt center gauge thingly.. was $600, rebuilt gauges, new silk screen and new lens..
Dash painted
hurst shifter installed to look stock, stock included
69 steering wheel installed because it was smaller then 68 and I have long legs, original wheel is included
4 new tires
4 wheel alignment
Headlights rebuilt
wiper door replaced and wiper stuff rebuilt...
all bearings were replaced...
Car was originally Polar white but was Sunfire Yellow when I got it.
the car is PAINT READY, reGELL coated and primered but I did not paint it because the new owner might want to go back white..
Car needs little stuff and paint.. I can have it painted if someone wants, I can get prices..
I paid $10,000 for it last year, I have paid $15,000 so far for the restore.. I just bought a 1965 Convertible Vette so this one has to go...
Wife said either one of the vette's are going, or I am going..
I am sure I forgot allot..
I will not sell it less than $15K, that is what I have in the restore,

This sounds like the vette that I have been looking for. Once I see the pictures I will probabily want come by and look at the car first hand. Perhaps some time over the weekend if that works for you.
