1969 project for sale (Last call)
1969 corvette L36 4 speed (427/390hp). The car does NOT have a motor but I do have the 4 speed trans. The frame, control arms, trailing arms etc have been cleaned up and have been powder coated (gloss black) as you can see in the pictures. With that being said the body is obviously off the car. The majority of the paint has been stripped and the interior has been gutted. As far as interior parts go, i'd say atleast 1/2 are reusable. Things I know which need to be replaced are: the carpet, E-brake & E-brake console, the rear compartment and the seats with headrests (i have old but they are in rough shape). No radio. I have the steering column, upper and lower dash pads, door panels, guages, instrument bezel shifter trim plate.
The front end has some damage in the lower valance area, i have a 3 meg video showing the damage from when the body was still on the frame. If you PM me with your email address i will send you the video.
All the dirty work is already done to this car and because it is already stripped down you can see that is is in very good shape overall.
ASKING $6,500 OR REASONABLE OFFER
Either PM me or call my cell (570)430-5064
Thanks, Carl
This is the ONLY area of rust concern around the bird cagethe rest is like brand new

I've seen this car posted before......and just can't believe that some one has not bought it!
If I had the money I'd buy it......6500 is a damn good deal for a 69 4 speed car........in fact 7500 ,would still be a good deal!
just my thoughts....hope things work out for you Corvette69w427

The car is located just outside of Scranton, PA and it sits how it is shown in the pictures (body is still off the frame). Also people have been inquiring to the the build sheet. Unfortunately i do not have it, a previous owner replaced the gas tank(most likely just to steal the build sheet).

What is the "right" price?
I am new to this forum, so please don't be insulted by this question, ok?
I have fallen in love with the C3 and will be finishing up 2 other projects to be able to get one. However, I am confused as to the variance in perceived value. The 'project' level cars I've seen on eBay - with motors - have gone for less than 3k.
Given that, I'd have expected a reasonable offer for this project (can't really call it a car right now) would be $1500 - $1800. However, one sees both 7,500 all the way up to 200k+ for a restored version of the same model year (asking prices anyway).
Perhaps I'm just too new to know the differences that I'm seeing? I'd love to learn more. Again, please don't take this as a criticism in any way - just trying to set my own expectations of what I'll be spending.
Thanks,
Chris

Not to be rude to the seller, but I am going to guess the answer is NO! Its obvious what this car is worth. Bump to the top for an awesome car. Definetly worth 6500 if not more.
