Road Trip!!!
.......just give me a list of needed repairs so I could correct to drive it back to New Orleans (I'll bring my toolbox/jackstands/tent/attitude/ with me)
Exterior lighting works?
Differential O.K.?
U-joints O.K.?
Transmission slipping/whining?
Brakes leaking?
Tie rods sloppy?
Ball joints sloppy?
Steering box sloppy?
P/S pump going bad?
Radiator leaking?
Water pump leaking?
Engine overheating?
Blown head gasket?
Rod knocking?
Engine wiring damaged?
(Just a few minor problems that I need to correct before the road trip....LOL....anything else I may have forgotten to mention?)
I wouldn't mind getting "up north" in the next 10 days.......but I'll continue searching this forum in case.

You my friend are a true Vette buddy. Hats off to you, I hope he takes you up on it because Lyle has been pretty adimant that it need to be trailered home.

we need to make the run soon so it will be ready for cruisn the coast! the last long run I made was from Valdez Ak, to Mobile Al, 5500miles, 5 days. in the truck towing my 74 LS4 Monte Carlo. im up for anything

the V10 doesn't get that bad of mileage, in the mountains of Canada, towing my 22ft dove tail car trailer, with the Monte Carlo on it loaded down with my stuff, and my motorcycle in the back of the truck it got 10.5 mpg, and was never down on power, and we didn't drive it very nicely either. and it will be perfect now because I got the A/C fixed in it!
