Default F/S 1977 coupe $10,500

1977 L-48 coupe with 85,000 miles. The car has custom silver paint and nice black interior. The frame is rock solid. There is no rust in the windshield posts or frame rails. The cars runs and drives great. The motor is original and sounds great with the custom straight pipes. The wheels and tires are like new. The brakes have been redone. The weakest part of the car is the engine bay(needs some serious detailing). Email me for any questions or photos.

if you ordered a non tilt/tele steering column from 1977-1979 this is the steering wheel you got! the three spoke leather wrapped first appeared on the t/t column in 1977. chevrolet used the same wheel on the vega and even as late as the late 80's cavaliers! so it being an early '77 is not exactly correct, this wheel is found all the way through on corvette (non t/t) until '79 in 1980, the t/t column became standard equipment.

As far as I know, the "Vega" style steering wheel was first introduced in the 1976 model year.

eugene,
correct you are!! it was indeed first used on the 1976 for both steering wheels! it was bemoaned by many corvette owners who felt slighted by having this placed on the steering column and found in the vega as well! that is why chevrolet came out with the three spoke leather wrapped wheel for the t/t column in '77 and up. but, if your car was non t/t this is the steering wheel that was there all the way through 1979!

p.s. and a bump for a nice looking 1977!!
