FS- 1973 Corvette Coupe
Thanks to all that had an interest. Car sold today going to a new home in NC with a proud young owner. I know who the coolest guy will be this fall in high school.
******************SOLD****************** SOLD*********
1973 Corvette
• Numbers match this 350 ci/190 hp L48 engine; however the intake has been replaced with an Edelbrock manifold and factory carburetor. Came from the factory with power steering, power brakes, AM/FM stereo and AC.
• Red with Black interior, originally a blue on blue car
• The body is in good condition with consistent lines, door fits, and headlight fits. Cosmetically, paint and interior are a very good driver quality. About a 7 to 8 on a scale of 10. New front bumper, rubber not fiberglass. Rear chrome shines up nice with few scratches. Interior has no tears or cracks, it shows very well.
• Weather striping is in very good condition.
• All paint, interior and weather stripping was completely redone approximately 20 years ago, and emblems were replaced, but the car has not been exposed to the elements since then.
• Approximately 70,000 mile, three owner car.
• We bought the car from the third owner who had stored it without driving or starting it since 1989.
• We have replaced the master cylinder, water pump, fuel pump, removed and cleaned the gas tank, replaced the plugs and wires, thermostat, replaced the rubber gas lines, new battery, rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the front calipers, among various other items needing attention.
• Documentation/receipts available of everything done to the car since 1989 included. (This includes numerous pictures taken during this reclamation process) Build sheet from gas tank in tattered but legible condition. Original 1973 owners manual in good condition
• Car runs very well with no knocking or unusual noises.
• Solid rust-free frame(surface rust only)
• What does the car need?
o The power steering leaks. Both the control valve and the ram leak. Approximately $200 of parts.
o The tachometer and clock do not work. The clock needs a quartz upgrade for about $75 and I think the tach needs to be overhauled $200.
o The AC does not work. Everything is there and has not been messed with. At a minimum it needs all new o-rings, a drier, and ????? Plan on $750 and most likely more.
New Reduced Price *** $10000 ***
Call 865.803.8150 or 865.607.0965 for more information.
