FS***1973 Highly Modified SB Coupe
GOING...GOING...GONE...Myles just took it away and it's headed to New Orleans. Great guy to deal with and it was a pleasure to meet him.
Sale update...after a couple of false starts with a couple of "buyers", Myles and I have put a deal together and the '73 is going to be headed to New Orleans. He had to promise to keep it out of huricanes

I'm selling one of my two Corvettes because I have the opportunity to buy a street rod from a friend of mine. I'm slowing down on autocrossing and going to spend more time taking the grand kids to car shows and cruises and I need a vehicle with four seats to do that. I'm not in a big rush so which ever car sells first, goes, and I'll keep the other.
I've built the '73 over the last 10 years and it's a blast. It keeps up with Z-06's on an autocross course and it gets a lot of attention where ever we go. Also, the car has lived it's life in the Southwest and there is NO rust anywhere.
10/14/09: Street rod deal may be going south. I've had several PM's regarding trades. What I would consider is a '91-96 6-speed coupe + cash depending on condition and mods(mods OK if done right), or a 4-place street rod.
For those of you who might be thinking of a RestoMod Vette project or a very competitive autocrosser, here is a totally finished and sorted, fuel injected C-3. Just get in and drive.

The price is reduced to $20,000. If I had to add up the receipts I know it would be more than double that. Reasonable offers would be considered but I don't have to sell it so I'm not giving it away.
Note: the vinyl numbers peel off

Wow, that is pretty much the '73 I'd like to build for road-racing and auto-x. If only I had a garage.
What do you think that would be like for a daily driver with a different set of wheels/tires?

Excellent road manners but the ride is VERY firm. I've made a couple of 900 mile round trips to Phoenix and it did very well. Virtually everything is new and quite reliable. I definitely would put on street tires. It has a radio/CD but NO heat or AC.

Yes, the numbers are stick on and there's actually more ground clearance than on the C-4. You can't take it down too much, otherwise you screw up the front geometry. Come on down...Jack

Brakes are stock C-3 calipers and rotors with Hawk HP Plus pads. I replaced the vacuum power boost system with a hydroboost and the car really stops now.
Also included are manuals, books, tech sheets, set up info, and a big box or receipts that will not be added up by me.

One last trip down the page
If there isn't any real interest, I'll wait until spring when the big "O"'s economy is going strong. Everyone will be flush with cash, lots of money to loan, and Vette values will be through the roof.

You've got a real nicely set up car as well. The guys I've been talking to, are planning on autocrossing it. Might be the time to put yours back up...Jack
