F/S 1974 Coupe Easy Project $4500
I have for sale a real solid 74 Coupe project car in decent condition. It is a numbers matching car, same owner for the last 31 years. The frame, windshield frame, and body are in good condition. The engine, transmission, and front suspension have been rebuilt. It is an automatic with power steering, power brakes, power windows, A/C, and tilt/tele steering column.
It had been sitting for 16 years and it needs brakes all the way around, exhaust, front and rear bumper covers, front shocks, tires, and a radiator. The interior is in pretty decent shape, driver quality or better. It needs door panels and carpet mostly. I have the car running now and moving under it's own power, and have moved it up and down my driveway.
The car is an easy project car and would not take much to put on the road, it just needs some TLC. I have additional pictures and I could email them to you. If you are nearby, you are welcome to come have a look. I need to get $4500 for it. Let me know if you have any interest. I am in Maryland near Frederick.
Take Care.

I moved the 74 Corvette over to the other bay in my garage today, and put it up on my scissors lift so I could get a good look at everything underneath. As mentioned before, the frame looks great, only surface rust you might expect for a car this age. The rear suspension all looks original. The front suspension has new ball joints, swaybar links, springs, etc.
By the way, I forgot to mention that there are two new door panels included with the car. The in-laws of the guy I bought it from had bought him new door panels for Christmas one year, but he never got around to installing them. They are still in the original boxes and plastic. Also, there is some documentation, the dealer information with the original purchasers information on it.

Unfortunately, there seems to be no interest in this great C3 project car. I don't understand it, as there seems to be lots of new members jumping on here all the time looking for a good C3 project under the $5-6k range.
Here is a running, numbers matching, highly optioned C3 with a good frame, good birdcage, and good body that could be put on the road in short order. In a very short time, someone could be driving this car around on these nice Summer days enjoying themselves, while they slowly brought the car up to the level that they want it to be. If I didn't already have a project of my own, I would keep it and do just that.
Having been a member of the Forum for some years now, I thought I would advertise it here first. Since there appears to be no interest here, it is going up on Ebay Sunday night.

What happened to the bumper covers? Not something you'd usually remove just for fun. Accident?
